Yogi Berra creates sell out at Feller Museum

June 13, 2003 By admin

If you want to see baseball hall of famer Yogi Berra at the Bob Feller Museum and have not yet purchased a ticket, it’s too late. Julie Bailey, executive director of the Feller Museum, says they sold out of the 600 tickets. She says having someone with the popularity of the former Yankee catcher visit will be a great benefit to the facility because many of the people visiting are coming for the first time. Berra will visit the Museum from 11:30 to three on Saturday and Bailey says they have a system in place that should prevent ticket buyers from feeling the need to get in line early. They sold a certain block of tickets for each hour. Bailey says all the proceeds raise from the event will be used to make improvements to the museum which is located in Feller’s home town of Van Meter.
