The owners of a museum that houses some of the state’s most unique archaeologist finds say they rebuild after a fire heavily damaged the stone and log museum in Forest City. The fire at Timberland Museum apparently started early Wednesday morning.The museum is located in Heritage Park on south edge of Forest City. The building had dinosaur bones, American Indian arrowheads, coins, rare currency and other artifacts on display. It also housed a collection of John Deere memorabilia. Oulman says they’re trying to retrieve what they can, but he guesses about a third or even half of the collection has been lost.
