Democratic presidential candidate Bob Graham says the Bush Administration should refocus its search for Osama bin Laden. Graham, a Florida Senator who was chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee when Democrats controlled the Senate, says “we had al Qaida nearly knocked out” and bin Laden surrounded in the hills of Afghanistan, but when military resources were redirected from Afghanistan to Iraq, “Osama Been Forgotten” — Graham’s new catch phrase — escaped. Graham says as he campaigns in Iowa, voters are expressing concerns. Graham says “we’ve finished up a very successful war in Iraq, but we’ve ended up with a quagmire to try to deal with and that’s diverting attention from our number one target,” which Graham says should be al Qaida and other international terrorists. Graham spent this morning at the Iowa State Fair with his children and grandchildren.
