Iowa’s oldest man has died. The funeral is tomorrow for 108-year-old Martin Johnson of Essex. He died Saturday at a nursing home in Shenandoah. He was born in 1894 and saw parts of three centuries. He had been owner and operator of Johnson Brothers Mills, which at one time had operations in Essex and Shenandoah.
