The quarterback question is settled at UNI– unlike the last, 2002 season. Tom Petrie shared the job last year with Griff Jurgens but as a junior Petrie is the clear number-one. He says that is making pre-season drills much more comfortable. He says some of the pressure of looking over his shoulder is off and he has the chance to take a few more risks.Last year Petrie threw for more than 13-hundred yards and while he’s confident the Panther offense will score points, says it is also critical to limit mistakes. He says they’re going to be explosive and efficient.U-N-I opens August 30th at Iowa State.Mark Simpson KCNZ Cedar Falls
