The Northern Iowa volleyball team will be tested the first weekend of the season. The Panthers open next week in a tournament in Los Angeles and will take on top-ranked U-S-C in the opener. Panther coach Bobbi Peterson says it marks the second straight season U-N-I has opened against the nation’s top ranked team. All-American middle blocker Molly O’Brien is interested to see how they matchup against the defending national champs.U-N-I returns five starters from last year’s team that finished 34-3.
