A well-known country music star won’t be performing on behalf of his chosen presidential candidate just yet. Willie Nelson has endorsed Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich for President, and Nelson committed to doing concerts for Kucinch in Des Moines and Ohio to help raise money for the campaign. But Kucinich campaign officials have announced both concerts — including the one scheduled for September 1st in Des Moines — have been canceled, and will be rescheduled later in the fall. Campaign officials say having the concerts closer to the Iowa Caucuses will help create momentum for the Kucinich candidacy. Folks who bought 30-dollar general admission tickets, the one-hundred-dollar Silver Circle tickets or paid two-hundred dollars to get into a party after the show that Nelson promised to attend will get refunds.
