U-N-I is hoping for a better showing this time. In their last trip to Ames in 2001 the Panthers lost 45-0. Mark Farley’s first game as coach, and Farley says they broke in Seneca Wallace in that game and will break in a new quarterback this game. Farley says this is a different team and his staff has a better handle on the players than they did in that first season. Farley says the players and coaches have a much better feeling going into this game. He says ISU is a good football team and he is ready for the challenge.Farley says the Panthers will need to click in all phases to win this game. He says the Cyclones have the same capability to do what they did two years ago, but Farley says his football team is better the than the one two years ago.
