A former standout wrestler at Dubuque Wahlert is accused of setting the fire. Nineteen-year-old William Leonard is charged with second degree arson, second degree burglary and first degree criminal mischief. According to court documents, Leonard told cops he was on drugs and angry at God when he set fire to the church. The blaze, which happened August 9th, caused over 100-thousand dollars in damage. Leonard graduated from Wahlert earlier this year, and in his senior season he was a Class 3-A runner-up in his weight class.
