Man rescued from grain bin in Creston

September 26, 2003 By admin

A man trapped in a grain bin in Creston was successfully rescued this afternoon. The employee of Debruce Grain in Creston became trapped around nine o’clock this morning. Dave Rieck (Reek) of KSIB radio in Creston was on the scene. He says he saw the man pulled out of the grain bin and the man was immediately loaded onto an ambulance. Rieck says the man was not out of danger even after they pulled him from the grain bin. He says one of the main concerns was the man’s circulation was cut off from the waist down and while that was being reestablished, they need to keep a close watch on him. The name of the man and his current condition have not been released.
