The Iowa Hawkeyes host 11th-rated Michigan in their annual homecoming game. The Wolverines will be out to avenge a 34-9 loss to the Hawks in their homecoming game a year ago. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says Michigan is good, with or without revenge on their mind. He says while the Hawkeye defense won’t be faced with the spread offense Michigan State employed the Wolverines have a talented receiving corps. He says they may put four receivers out wide, including their tight end who can play like a wide receiver.Ferentz says last week’s game showed was proof the Hawkeyes are not explosive enough to overcome mistakes, so they can’t afford to make turnovers. Iowa is 4-1 on the season.
