A frustrated Central College football team looks for a win at Upper Iowa on Saturday. Every year since 1980 the Dutch have finished first or second in the Iowa Conference race but this season stand 0-3 in the league for the first time since 1955. Central coach Rich Kacmarynski it is testing the character of everyone associated with the program, but he says he’s a firm believer in his staff and everyone in the program. The defense has played as well as expected coming into the season but the offense ranks at the bottom of the conference in several categories. He says a big chunk of their problem is on offense and they’ve been working on getting more production. He says the offense needs a shot of confidence and a quick start would help.
