October 15, 2003 By admin

A Sheldon man is now in custody for his alleged involved in a burglary and assault over the weekend. Sheldon police say they arrested 34-year-old Jeffrey Counter in the Sheldon police department. He’s been charged with first degree burglary and first degree kidnapping. Authorities say they used a warrant to collect evidence on Tuesday. Early Saturday, a 59-year-old woman told police someone broke into her home, robbed and physically assaulted her. Counter’s being held in the O’Brien County jail in Primghar. Authorities say other charges could be filed.
