Two die in Waterloo fire

A fire in Waterloo early this morning killed two young children. Firefighters with Waterloo fire rescue arrived to the home on Hawver Court just before one o’clock to find the lower portion of the home totally engulfed in flames. The children are identified as 5-year-old Rodriquez Robinson-Seals and one-and-a-half-year-old Dayounis Seals. Autopsies are expected to be performed later today on the two. The cause of the fire is under investigation.Officials say five people, including four adults and a child, escaped the fire. Two survivors and a firefighter were injured and were taken to a Waterloo hospital.
