A Mason City man is under arrest after allegedly abducting his ex-girlfriend from her apartment and stabbing another man in the process. Twenty-seven-year-old Celso Edward Contreras, Junior was arrested behind a residence in Mason City shortly before midnight last night. Contreras allegedly took 18-year-old Shelby Lynn Lunn from her apartment shortly before six last night. Thirty-eight-year-old James Otto Andersen was stabbed in an altercation prior to the abduction, cut in the head near his ear, according to police. Andersen was treated and released from a Mason City hospital. Police say Lunn did not appear to be injured. Contreras was arrested and charged with second degree kidnapping, aggravated domestic abuse assault and failure to appear in court on a previous charge of assault resulting in injury.
