Iowa State’s seniors have had standout careers but it was a disappointing home finale in a 44-10 loss to Colorado. The Buffaloes scored the first three times they had the ball as the Cyclones dropped their eighth-straight game. Defensive tackle Jordan Carstens says it’s hard to pinpoint, as he says he thought they were ready to play, but didn’t come out with the fire they needed. Carstens says it was not the way he wanted his final game at Jack Trice Stadium. But, he says they came out and played well in the second half and have to look at that as a positive as they get ready for Kansas this weekend.
