Coupon-clippers can now surf Iowa’s tourism website to save cash on all sorts of food, lodging and services across the Hawkeye State. The on-line coupons include deals at a variety of Iowa tourist attractions, restaurants, gift shops, hotels and bed and breakfasts. Shawna Lode at the Iowa Tourism office says they’re easy to find. She says to visit “traveliowa.com” and click on the “travel savings” icon to get the full list of more than 60 e-coupons.Lode says the e-coupons aren’t just for Des Moines either. They range from discounts on massages in the Lake Okoboji area of northwest Iowa to hotels in Fort Madison in the southeast — and many other points across the state. She the tourism office is going this electronic route because it makes it easy for people to sign on day or night without having to clip them out of a brochure.Lode says the coupons are good at least through December 31st.
