A young eastern Iowa man who police say dresses like a woman to commit crimes is now behind bars. 16-year-old Ontario Richardson of Davenport was arrested in a Davenport bank Tuesday afternoon after a silent alarm was sounded. Tellers say he was acting suspicious and police say they found a gun in Richardson’s purse. He was clad in women’s clothes, makeup and a wig. Police say Richardson was wearing the same getup last week when he carjacked a man in Davenport. As he tried to force the motorist into the trunk, the man escaped unhurt. Richardson is charged with kidnapping, robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.
