Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz says Florida is the likely bowl destination for the Hawkeyes. It looks as though Michigan and Ohio State will both be part of the Bowl Championship Series making it likely Iowa will play on New Years Day either in the Capitol One Bowl in Orlando or the Outback Bowl in Tampa. Ferentz says they don’t know exactly where they might go, he says if they end up playing an S-E-C team, they’re all good. Ferentz says they would like to know their destination but will need to wait until the B-C-S pairings are announced. He says it’s tougher on the fans who’re trying to get flights and make arrangements than it is on the team. He says the only dramatic change would be if they end up going to Texas, as the game would be earlier in the month.Iowa finished the regular season 9-3.
