The Iowa basketball team has moved into the Associated Press top 25. The Hawks are 24th after Saturday’s come from behind win over Northern Illinois in the championship game of their own tournament. Iowa coach Steve Alford says his team should not make too much of the ranking. He says what they need to pay attention to is the momentum they’ve garnered and they need to understand why they’ve won six games. The Hawkeyes visit UNI tomorrow night, which he says is one of the tough tests on the road before they head into conference play.
