Drake coach uses time off to review fundamentals

The Drake men return to action at home on Saturday against Southern Utah. The Bulldogs are 2-3 after falling to Southern Illinois in their Missouri Valley Conference opener and coach Tom Davis says he doesn’t mind going a week between games because they have so many things to improve on. He says the week allows them to go back and work on some of the fundamentals.After Saturday’s game the Bulldogs will have another week off and Davis says at this point his team needs a lot of practice time. He says they’re still not sure who’s going to emerge in all the starting positions.
