Grinnell and Pella meet in top boy-girl basketball double

December 19, 2003 By admin

The Grinnell and Pella girl/boy basketball doubleheader tonight features some of the top teams early on this season. John Martenson reports. The Grinnell girls are ranked 12th and are 7-0 — believed to be the best start in school history. The Pella girls opened the season in the top 15 of the 3A poll and have dropped down after a couple of loses. Both of the boys teams come into the game undefeated. Grinnell is 5-0 and face the two-time defending champion Dutch, who’re 3-0.
