Someone who bought a “Hot Lotto” ticket at a central Iowa convenience store has won big money. Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer says the ticket was sold at a Quik Trip on Merle Hay Road in Johston, a Des Moines suburb. The ticketholder can now lay claim to a one-point-six-five million dollar “Hot Lotto” jackpot. Neubauer says it’s the fourth “Hot Lotto” winning ticket sold in Iowa. A Fort Madison man won a “Hot Lotto” jackpot last month. It’s also the second time a “Hot Lotto” ticket sold in Iowa during the holidays has been a winner. In the Christmas Day drawing last year, a retired I-B-P worker from Denison won a two-point-seven million dollar “Hot Lotto” jackpot. The ticket that won Saturday’s “Hot Lotto” jackpot has the numbers six, seven, 10, 14 and 35 and the “Hot Ball” is 10.
