Iowa readies for full bowl practice

December 23, 2003 By admin

The Iowa Hawkeyes have returned to a full practice schedule in preparation for the January 1st Outback Bowl against Florida. Quarterback Nathan Chandler says they will work on the game plan before leaving for Tampa on Wednesday. He says they’d tried to get everyone healed up, and now they’re ready to go to work on the game plan.Chandler says the Hawks are going to work hard and try to avoid a disappointing effort like last season’s Orange Bowl. He says all of them that were in Miami were disappointed the way things turned out. Chandler says they just want to give everything they can during the preparation, so they can be happy with the outcome.Iowa finished the regular season 9-3.
