Drake coach Tom Davis was hoping the Bulldogs would carry over the momentum gained in a win at Wichita State into Thursday night’s game against Bradley and that’s exactly what happened. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-point halftime lead and cruised to a 90-67 win over the Braves in the Knapp Center. Davis was pleased with the performance despite a couple of bad practices early in the week. He said they had a little talk and he says they got it together and played pretty tough.Drake shot 61 percent for the game and had 23 assists in the game. He says they’ve been taking pretty good care of the ball and passing it well. David Bancroft had 13 points for Drake while making all six of his shots. He says it was a big win for the Bulldogs, and says it shows the win against Wichita State wasn’t a fluke. Drake is now 6-5 on the season.
