Morningside faces top-ranked team

One versus two matchups are rare but that will be the case this weekend as the Morningside women, second rated in NAIA, visits number one Dakota Wesleyan. At 17-0 Morningside has already equaled last year’s win total. Morningside’s press has led to a turnover ratio of plus-19 but coach Jamie Sale says the halfcourt defense is vastly improved. He says they gave up a lot of layups last year and that hurt them.
