Search continues in Northeast Iowa for missing woman

January 9, 2004 By admin

The search for a missing Iowa woman hasn’t turned up any success yet. Black Hawk County deputies have been looking for Patricia Jean Rapacki since Tuesday. That’s when her boyfriend led officers on a chase through Black Hawk and Bremer counties and stabbed himself in the stomach after they caught up with him. He was driving the woman’s car and her purse, jacket and other possessions were in it. Lynn LaMasters told police the woman has another car and might be driving it and staying in motels between Dubuque and Dyersville. But investigators still haven’t located the woman or any evidence she’s been in the area, and they’d like to talk to anyone who’s known her. She’s described as 5-foot-6, 120 pounds…and she turns 44 years old tomorrow.
