Authorities in eastern Iowa have released the names of those involved in a domestic dispute that left one man dead and two people hurt over the weekend at LoMont Moulding in Mount Pleasant. Police were called shortly afternoon Saturday to the parking lot of the factory on East maple Leaf Drive, where a shooting had taken place. Police say 27-year-old David Rivera of Columbus Junction and 25-year-old Jesusita Urguiza of Fort Madison were sitting in a can in the parking lot when Urguiza’s husband Jose Quintanilla approached the vehicle and shot the two occupants, then shot himself. Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene, Urguiza was flown to University Hospitals in Iowa City where she was in critical condition. Quintanilla was taken by ambulance to University Hospitals and was in stable condition. Police say they’ll file charges against him when he’s released from the hospital.
