Vilsack says the participation by Iowans was significant and Iowa “put on a great show.” He says he’s proud of the way Iowans responded to the Caucus process. Vilsack’s appearing at Kerry’s side in St. Louis today because Vilsack’s family has links to Missouri politics. Vilsack’s wife, Christie, has relatives in Missouri. Her uncle was the long-time mayor of a town of 25-hundred in western Missouri.
