The Iowa Hawkeye women are at home tonight in the Big Ten to take on fifth-ranked Purdue. The Hawkeyes are 6-3 in conference play and coach Lisa Bluder says tonight begins a difficult stretch to close out the regular season. She says they’re looking forward to playing Purdue and says they know they have several ranked teams ahead, but they’re ready.Jamie Cavey has been scoring a lot of points and Bluder says sophomore forward Johanna Solverson has picked up her game as of late.Purdue is 9-1 in the Big Ten and is a half game behind Penn State in the league race. Purdue coach Kristy Curry says she’s always felt the conference has a tremendous amount of parity and it’s difficult to go on the road in the league.
