February 12, 2004 By admin

Drug users caught by one northeast Iowa police department will find their pictures on-line. “If you use drugs, people will see your mugs,” is the message Oelwein police chief Jeremy Logan says he wants to send to illegal drug users. The Oelwein Police Department is now posting pictures of people convicted of drug crimes on the department’s website. Chief Logan says it’s another step in the process of riding the community of drug activity. The website address is:www.oelweinpolice.org.
