ISU women sink Kansas

February 18, 2004 By admin

The Iowa State women sank 12 three pointers enroute to a 73-58 win at Kansas in the Big-12. Cyclone coach Bill Fennelly called it a “big win” during his postgame show on the Cyclone Network. He says even though Kansas is below them in the standings, he says you never know what’s going to happen, as he says Kansas has beaten some good teams in the conference. The victory moves the Cyclones back above the 500 mark at 12-11. Fennelly says he was worried about how they would play and says it was a very solid game.
