ISU road woes continue with loss at Mizzou

February 19, 2004 By admin

Iowa State’s road losing streak in the Big-12 increased to 22-games Wednesday night but not without a fight. The Cyclones hung in against Missouri but could get no closer than four points in the second half in an 82-70 loss. After the game on the Cyclone Network I-S-U coach Wayne Morgan said he was pleased with the effort. He says they had too many turnovers in the first half, and gave up too many rebounds in the second half. Morgan said it was the kind of effort the Cyclones need to break through on the road. He says if they can play hard and cut down on some mistakes.Iowa State is 5-6 in the Big-12 and is at Kansas this weekend.
