Penn State spoils senior day for Iowa

The Iowa Hawkeye women had Senior Day spoiled by seventh ranked Penn State. The Nittany Lions used a 23-6 second half run to take command in a 70-58 win over the Hawks in their final home game. Iowa is 9-5 in the Big Ten and will close the regular season with two road games this week.Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says it’s not the fairytale ending they hoped for. She says they have to get at least a split with their final two games next week.Iowa shot just 32-percent for the game and made only two of 18 from three point range. Iowa is now 15-9 overall.
