Stabbing death under investigation in Sheldon

February 23, 2004 By admin

Police in the northwest Iowa town of Sheldon are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in a trailer court early Sunday. Police were called to investigate a disturbance call around 12:30 A.M. and discovered the body of 37-year-old Dennis Mansker at a trailer. Mansker also lived in the trailer park. Officers say it was clear he died of multiple stab wounds to the chest. The man who lived in the trailer where the body was found was taken into custody as a material witness. 47-year-old Richard Isbill Junior is held on 100-thousand dollars bond.
