Sullivan looks to finish senior season on win streak

February 24, 2004 By admin

Iowa State senior guard Jake Sullivan is confident the Cyclones can finish the regular season on a winning streak. The Cyclones are 5-7 in the Big-12 and open the last four games of the regular season at home tomorrow night against Kansas State. He says it’s extremely important and says people will remember him and the other seniors by the way they finish the season. Sullivan says the Cyclones need a strong finish to boost their post-season hopes. He says they have a favorable schedule with two home games, so they have a good chance of getting into the Big 12 Tournament and then trying to get a run going.Sullivan still battles a sore ankle but he says he feels healthy coming down the stretch. The Cyclones are 14-9.
