Search underway for driver in fatal accident near Tama

The search is underway for a motorist who killed a pedestrian overnight in central Iowa. Tama County authorities say a Marshalltown man was hit by a car and killed last night near Tama. The victim’s identified as 61-year-old Robert Shattuck. A search is underway for the vehicle, believed to be a red or maroon, 1970s model Ford Mercury.
