February 26, 2004 By admin

Iowa State avenged a 31-point loss at Kansas State. Jake Sullivan had 24 points, including 19 in the second half, as the Cyclones rallied for a 75-69 win in Hilton Coliseum. He says it might have been one of the most hard-fought games he’s ever been in as both teams are fighting for the postseason. The Cyclones shored things up in the second half. They committed 14 turnovers in the opening half and trailed by four at the break. Sullivan says they talked about shutting off the turnovers and were able to do that and hang on.ISU improves to 15-9 overall.
