Snow catches Northwest Iowans who were ready for Spring

They went to bed after a spring-like warm day, but northwest Iowans woke up to something entirely different. This time yesterday many northwest Iowa residents were out doing yard work. Today they traded the rakes for shovels as much as 20 inches of snow has fallen since early this morning. Some unofficial backyard totals hit 25 and 26 inches.
