ISU men and women win

The Iowa State women opened the W-N-I-T with an easy 72-59 win against Idaho State. The game was the first of a double-header at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. The Iowa State men shot a Big-12 record 74-percent from the field in an 82-74 win over Georgia in the opening round of the N-I-T.Cyclone coach Wayne Morgan on the postgame show on the Cyclone Network says it was a good team and nice to get a victory against them. He says he thought his team was unselfish and moved the ball well. He says they took advantage of the opportunities given to them.
