Pocahontas man dies in car/semi collision

A man from the northwest Iowa town of Pocahontas is dead after a car-semi collision Monday. Pocahontas County authorities say the car driven by 60-year-old Dennis Walters crossed the center line near Pocahontas and collided head-on with the truck, driven by 40-year-old Darin Iversen of Cedar Falls. Walters was pronounced dead at the scene. Iverson and a passenger were treated and released.
