A Waterloo man was arrested after a high-speed chase through two northeast Iowa counties. Police say David Harris took off in Cedar Falls when they tried to stop him for a traffic violation. The chase reached speeds of over 100 miles an hour before he was stopped on U.S. Highway 20 east of Dike. Harris was arrested on three outstanding warrants and now faces numerous traffic charges. A 53-year-old woman, Dorothy Harris, of Waterloo was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with the chase.
