Woman dies in hit-and-run

May 3, 2004 By admin

Authorities in northwest Iowa are investigating a fatal hit-and-run. The Plymouth County sheriff’s office says the woman killed south of Craig, Iowa, last night was 39-year-old Joan Marie Wilson of rural Akron. Wilson was out jogging when authorities say a vehicle hit her at about nine p.m. and left the scene. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene and authorities are looking for a vehicle that may have damage to the right front, and asking for the public’s help.
