Registration is underway for the 18th annual Summer Iowa Games in July. Last year’s event attracted a record of 18 thousand 700 competitors and executive director Jim Hallihan says adding a second weekend last year for more adult events helped boost participation.Hallihan say registration booklets are available at several locations and for the first time you can register on-line and sign up with a credit card.Hallihan says the Summer Games will have 45-sports again this year.Hallihan says they hope to boost the number of teams in youth basketball by letting the by-pass regional competition. The summer games are July 16th though the 18th and the 23rd through the 25th.
