Iowa Wesleyan football coach looks for better season

May 7, 2004 By admin

Iowa Wesleyan football coach Todd McGhghy has a much better feeling about the 2004 season, not surprising, considering he was hired as head coach just two months prior to a season in which the Tigers finished 1-9. Iowa Wesleyan closed out spring drills with a 128-play scrimmage last weekend.McGhghy says spring practice gave the coaches a chance to work on the new system and he feels the players are buying into it. McGhghy says getting the job in the middle of the summer prevented him from making big changes prior to last season.
