UNI takes on Big 12 foe

The UNI baseball team will play outside of the Missouri Valley Conference, as they travel to Lincoln to take on Nebraska in a two-game series beginning tonight. UNI enters this series with a shorthanded pitching staff. Due to injuries the Panthers have only eight active pitchers available.Panther coach Rick Heller who says the Husker bats are a concern, so they don’t want to go in with a shortage of good arms to pitch. He says it’ll be a challenge with the pitchers they have to throw at them.UNI is 20-25, Nebraska is 30-16.
