May 28, 2004 By admin

A four-wheel-drive vehicle crashed near Newton last night, killing the driver and injuring two passengers. Jasper County authorities say forty-six year old Dean Anderson was driving the truck off-road when it rolled over. Two of the passengers, twenty-two year old Travis Baker of Newton and twenty-one year old Mariah Foot of Kellogg, were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known. A third passenger, Justin Anderson, wasn’t hurt. It’s still unclear what caused the accident.
