Two teenage brothers from Rockwell City were killed in a traffic accident yesterday afternoon in Calhoun County. Fourteen-year-old Jason Rodemann and eleven-year-old Gilbert Rodemann were killed on impact when the car they were riding in collided with a pickup truck southwest of Rockwell City. The driver, 19-year-old Crystal Rodemann and another passenger, 18-year-old Rose Rodemann were both seriously injured and taken by helicopter from the scene. Both were listed in critical but stable condition as of this morning. State police say the car carrying the Rodemann’s turned into the path of the pick-up. the collision sent both vehicles off the road. Officials are indicating that everyone was wearing a seat belt. Two men from Arkansas in the pickup truck were taken by ambulance to a local hospital where they were treated and released.
