More than 50 men’s teams will compete this weekend at three sites across the state in Iowa Games basketball regional action. The teams will be trying to advance to the Iowa Games later this summer in Ames. Iowa Games executive director Jim Hallihan says teams compete in one of three regionals because of the large number of teams out there.Hallihan says the Iowa Games are popular for the adult teams because they have fewer opportunities to compete. Regional action is on Saturday.
