Summer arrives

June 21, 2004 By admin

Summer has finally arrived in Iowa.Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. But what it doesn’t mean is the hottest temperatures of the year. That’s because, just like an oven, the atmosphere takes a while to heat up.
